Sara Gosney, Director, Teacher & Owner

Hello! My name is Sara, and I’m the Director, Owner and Co-Teacher at Nest Preschool.

I thought that my future was destined for the world of art making, after earning degrees in both Filmmaking and Graphic Design. After my daughter was born, knew I wanted to be with children every day.

I completed Early Childhood Education coursework at DeAnza College (Cupertino, CA), Foothill College (Los Altos Hills, CA), and Front Range Community College in Colorado. I later continued my education and received a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Colorado Denver (MA in Innovative Early Childhood Education in partnership with the Boulder Journey School).

I’m a certified Early Childhood Teacher in Colorado, hold a level 5 Early Childhood Professional 3.0 Credential (large center director qualified), and my program is licensed through the State of Colorado Office of Early Childhood (License #1730611).

I live with my husband and daughter, two dogs (Blue & Louie), two cats (Rufus & Smokey), two fish (Clem & Coconut) and two lizards (Amber & Mossy).

Jenn Hogue, Teacher

Welcome to The Nest Preschool! I am Mrs. Jenn and I am so excited to be one of your child’s teachers. I bring 23 years experience in working with children. I started out as a special needs in-home child care provider in Larimer County, spent 17 years doing child & family portrait photography, working mainly with special needs and terminally ill children. Then recently transitioned to teaching in a classroom for the last three years. I am truly passionate about teaching diversity and inclusivity. My younger brothers had special needs and my youngest child is Autistic so it has played a huge role in shaping the teacher I’ve become. 

I received my current Early Childhood education from the University of Northern Colorado and Colorado University. I’ll be attending Denver Community to earn my Director Certification this fall. I hold a level 3+ Early Childhood Professional Credential.

I live in loveland and enjoy spending my free time traveling, hiking, kayaking and reading. I look forward to our awesome time together and learning lots of new things!
